By using our website or purchasing any Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Description of Services

Lumina provides digital tools and personalized advising to help students research and apply to international universities, primarily in Europe.
Our Services include:

  • Free university-matching form and informational emails

  • Paid advisory packages (Basic, Essentials, and Guided Application Plan)

  • Optional add-on services such as housing placement or additional coaching

Lumina is not a university, agent, or admissions authority. We offer consulting and informational support only. Admission decisions remain solely with each institution.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use our Services. If under 18, you must have consent from a parent or guardian.

3. Payments and Refunds

a. Payments

All fees are listed in U.S. dollars. Payment is due in full at purchase unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed securely through third-party providers; Lumina does not store credit-card information.

b. Refunds

Guided Application Plan Money-Back Guarantee

  • Students are eligible for a full refund only if they are not accepted to any program after completing the application process under this plan.

  • Eligibility for refund requires that the student:

    1. Applies to at least one university that Lumina identifies and approves in writing as a “safety school.”

    2. Submits complete, good-faith applications following Lumina’s guidance and deadlines.

    3. Provides written proof of all application outcomes within 14 days of receiving final decisions.

  • If any of these conditions are not met, the guarantee is void.

  • Refund requests must be made in writing to explore@luminaeuro.com within 30 days of receiving all final decisions.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 30 days of approval.

Other Services (Basic, Essentials, add-ons) are non-refundable once work has begun.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete information in all forms and communications

  • Follow Lumina’s application guidance if you wish to qualify for the money-back guarantee

  • Refrain from sharing, reproducing, or reselling our materials or proprietary information

You are responsible for ensuring that all applications and supporting materials you submit to universities are truthful and compliant with institutional requirements.

5. Intellectual Property

All website content, tools, materials, graphics, and logos are the property of Lumina and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce or distribute these materials without written consent.

6. Disclaimers

Lumina provides advisory services for educational purposes only and does not guarantee admission to any institution.
While we make every effort to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we are not responsible for errors in university data, deadlines, or external websites.

Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Lumina, its affiliates, and advisors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services.

  • Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service giving rise to that claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lumina and its officers, employees, and contractors from any claims or liabilities arising out of your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved by binding arbitration in Denton, Texas, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
You waive any right to participate in a class or collective action.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. The “Effective Date” indicates the most recent version. Continued use of the website after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
